Backorders & Inventory
We make every attempt to notify our customers in the event of backordering. If shipments are scheduled more than 30 days after the order date, we will notify you via email and give you a cancellation option. Written notification may be required for any cancellations made by the customer (emails are accepted). Many times we will offer suggestions on substitutions for any discontinued, backordered or sold out merchandise.
All backordered merchandise will be shipped immediately upon arrival to our warehouse. Backorders will be filled before new orders when the backordered items become available.
Payment Methods & Terms
BuellParts.NET accepts Visa, Master Card and Discover credit cards (we no longer accept American Express), and supports customers who wish to use Paypal as a payment option. We pre-screen all international orders and international forms of payment. In most cases we do not accept payment via wire transfers or Western Union, especially on international orders. Customers who regularly order large quantities of our product may become eligible for additional discounts, and/or optional payment arrangements.
Shipping & Freight
Whenever possible, all domestic shipments will be made via UPS, or FedEx ground. It is BuellParts.NET policy to ship via the most economical means, whenever possible. Air freight shipments and optional extra fast delivery services from some shippers are available upon request at additional cost to the purchaser. Rush orders required to ship by air must be placed by noon EST. Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Alaska and some other orders may be shipped by air, unless otherwise specified by the customer. Export shipments must be approved before the order is processed and arranged on an individual shipping destination basis. Online catalog prices do not include the cost of shipping. The exact cost will be calculated by our shopping cart during the check out process.
Note: Oversized or heavy items may have an additional shipping cost. This charge may not be calculated until the order is being prepared. We will notify you if there is an increase in the shipping charge or your order prior to billing and shipping.
Alaska & Hawaii Orders
We are happy to accept orders for our customers in Alaska and Hawaii. However, orders to these states generally carry higher shipping costs. Quoted shipping rates or special incentives for free shipping listed on BuellParts.NET do not apply on sales to Alaska, or Hawaii. Special shipping and handling charges will apply to these orders and should be confirmed prior to order processing and transfer of funds. If you have questions, or if you would like a quote for a shipment to Alaska and/or Hawaii you should contact us directly.
International Orders & Shipments
We are happy to accept orders for our international customers. However, orders shipped internationally generally carry higher shipping costs; taxes, fees, and duties. Quoted shipping rates or special incentives for free shipping listed on BuellParts.NET do not apply on sales for international shipments/orders. Special shipping and handling charges will apply to these orders and should be confirmed prior to order processing and transfer of funds. If you have questions, or if you would like a quote for a shipment internationally, you should contact us directly.
Allow 7-10 business days for delivery of non-backordered items in the continental U.S. Allow additional time for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and International Orders.
Entire orders will be shipped together if possible.
Restocking & Reboxing Fees:
All merchandise returns and/or exchanges are subject to a 25% restocking fee. All merchandise that has to be broken from its original packaging, box or case will be assessed a $6.00 reboxing fee.
Damaged Shipments & Claims
Claims for damaged shipments and or lost shipments, are the responsibility of the carrier. We urge all customers to properly inspect tracking information, containers and cartons, including the merchandise, before signing the delivery receipt or bill. Customers are responsible for all shipping and handling charges on returned shipments. In the event of a damage or other claim, please notify BuellParts.NET immediately. Any avoidance of this procedure will exempt BuellParts.NET from any responsibility.
Exchanges & Replacements
Exchanges and replacements will be considered a new order if the merchandise needs to be shipped out immediately. An exact replacement item or an item of similar value may be shipped prepaid only if the returned item is shipped first by the customer, then received and fully inspected at our warehouse.
Exchanges must be in new condition and must include all instructions and original packing material. Customer pays all return shipping charges. Include a copy of your packing list with all returns.
Returns & Cancellations
All returns must be authorized within 10 calendar days of receipt of shipment. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Please call ahead to get a return authorization number before you send back the merchandise. Make sure you mark the outside of the package with the return authorization number we email to you. All authorized returns must be made within 10 calendar days of return approval to our shipping address. Any unauthorized returns will be refused. Any used merchandise will not be eligible to be returned. Returns must be in new condition and must include all instructions and original packing material. Customer pays all return shipping charges. Include a copy of your packing list with all returns.
Note: All custom merchandise is not refundable, not cancelable and not returnable. BuellParts.NET reserves the right not to accept any returns and/or offer any refunds for any of our custom made items or items that have been modified and shipped to the customer. Custom merchandise such as certain seats, sized clothing, helmets, gloves and other aftermarket parts are considered special services offered by BuellParts.NET and may not be eligible for return.
Electrical Items And Modification of Product: BuellParts.NET reserves the right not to accept any returns and/or offer any refunds for any electrical items shipped to the customer, including; but not limited to, voltage regulators, starter relays, throttle position sensors, speed sensors, CAM positioning sensors, stators, and ignition modules. All electrical items are manufactured according to the specifications of Buell and are inspected before shipping to be free of defects.
Any product that has been subject to misuse, improper storage, unauthorized modification, unauthorized repair, neglect, accident, alteration, improper installation, and or other acts of which are not the fault of BuellParts.NET, can not be returned or refunded by BuellParts.NET.
BuellParts.NET is not responsible for freight charges on returned items directly resulting from customer error (including but not limited to: do not want or dislike item, size, color, overall look etc, etc.). All shipping costs for returned merchandise will be paid for by the shipper. SHIPMENTS SENT COLLECT WILL BE REFUSED BY BUELLPARTS.NET. BuellParts.NET is available however, to answer questions and assist in helping you choose the most economical method to ship back your return. No C.O.D. on shipments will be accepted. Only shipping costs for items shipped in error by BuellParts.NET, will be paid for by BuellParts.NET.
Return Shipping Instructions
Return via prepaid UPS or US mail. Insure shipment for full value of purchase. Use original packaging. We are not responsible for packages lost during return shipping.
Sales tax is charged on instate orders and any special instances that it may be required by law.
